Editing and saving
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+S / Command+S | Save through the current destination when unsaved changes exist. Local file: download; GitHub: repository save; Confluence editor: Save to page. |
| Enter in Rename | Apply the element/relationship name. |
| Escape in Rename | Restore the previous name while editing the field. |
| Delete with a record selected | Open delete confirmation, provided you are not typing into an input. Deleting an element also deletes its related interactions. |
| Enter in a view name field | Apply an enabled Rename action in Manage views. |
| Tab / Shift+Tab | Move between focusable controls. Use Enter/Space for buttons as appropriate. |
Pointer actions
Click + Element to choose a type, or drag it onto the canvas to choose a location. Select an element and drag its connection handle to a target. Use the arrow's endpoint handles or Details fields to reconnect. Drag empty canvas to pan; use zoom buttons, wheel or pinch to zoom.
Reading inside Confluence
The inline diagram prioritises scrolling the surrounding page. Use Explore for a full-screen canvas and explicit fit/zoom controls. Explore changes are temporary and do not have a save shortcut.
Focus matters
Keys apply to the focused editor control. Pressing Delete inside a name field edits text instead of deleting the record. Avoid relying on conventional undo/redo shortcuts as a general recovery mechanism; keep saved copies.
